The sport of basketball may be the most dynamic of all sports and requires very explosive, but controlled movements. Our basketball programming focuses heavily on increasing our athlete’s vertical jump, lateral quickness and increasing lean body mass. Basketball athlete’s require a tremendous amount of forced to be applied on one leg, therefore uni-lateral/single leg training is integral to reducing the risk of injury and optimizing performance. At A3 we train approximately 150 basketball athlete’s throughout the year and have been able to redefine how to maximize off-season and in-season training for our athlete’s.
